How it fits a hardware store
A walk-in customer and a contractor can pay different prices for the same item. Keep up to five price levels per item, name them (for example retail, trade and contractor) and pick the right one while billing. Minimum prices stop a bill going below your limit unless the staff member has permission.
Contractors and institutions often ask for a quotation first. Prepare it in CubiclePOS and turn it into a bill when they confirm. Credit sales go onto the customer's balance, payments are allocated against it, and statements can be shared online.
Post-dated cheques from customers and to suppliers all sit on the Cheque Calendar, so you know what to deposit and what to pay each day.
