How CubiclePOS helps

Built for pharmacy stock

The parts of CubiclePOS that matter most when every item has a batch and an expiry date.

Batches and expiry dates

Keep stock by batch, with batch numbers, manufacture and expiry dates, and prices per batch.

Expiry warnings

Expired batches are flagged while billing, and scanning an item shows which batches are fresh, expiring soon or expired.

Barcode billing

Scan or search items and build the bill quickly, with multi-item quick billing for busy times.

Bulk and single units

Buy by the case, box or bundle and sell by the piece, with a conversion such as 1 case = 24 units and a separate bulk price.

Low-stock list

See which items are running low, so you know what to reorder before it runs out.

Purchases and GRN

Record purchases and goods received notes against each supplier, and track supplier payments.

Multi-branch stock

See live stock in every branch and move goods between branches with stock transfers.

WhatsApp and SMS e-bills

Send the bill to the customer's phone by WhatsApp or SMS.

Sales returns

Record returns; the day summary shows sales, returns and net sales separately.

Users and roles

Give each staff member only the access they need.

Sales and profit reports

Daily sales insights and your real profit, not just turnover.

Day summary and cash count

See the day's sales, payments, expenses and profit, and count the cash drawer at day-end.

In practice

How it fits a pharmacy

Each delivery is recorded on a goods received note with its batch number, manufacture date and expiry date, and each batch can have its own price.

At the counter, expired batches are flagged while billing. Scan any item to see its stock and which of its batches are fresh, expiring soon or expired, so short-dated stock can be moved first.

Buy by the box and sell by the card or the piece: set the bulk unit and conversion once, and stock stays correct either way.

Good to know

  • CubiclePOS handles the retail and stock side of a pharmacy: billing, batches, expiry, purchases and reports
  • It does not manage prescriptions or patient records
  • User roles control what each staff member can see and do
  • Stock and sales can be checked across branches from anywhere
